Christ Chapel Donates 125 Shoe Boxes for Operation Christmas Child

On Sunday November 22nd, Christ Chapel helpers loaded 125 Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes for Samaritan’s Purse into John Zachos’ car. They filled the trunk, back seat and some of his passenger seat, before he drove them to the drop off point in Branford on the first leg of their journey to a child of God. Even though only 70 boxes were handed out in the previous weeks, God multiplied their return, as He does with everything in His will.

Thank you to all the volunteers who made and brought in boxes, with some families donating as many as ten and the Youth Group providing 33 boxes.
Also, thanks to others who built and donated a box or two on-line.

The number of boxes delivered was comparable to last year. Don’t forget that you can use your QR Code to track where each box went.
Let us pray that regardless of where they wind up, they will have a lasting impact for His Kingdom.
