HAPPY SUNDAY, CHURCH FAMILY!

Hello Christ Chapel family. Welcome back! If you are reading this, then you have decided to stay connected through these online services. We pray these are spurring you on in your faith as you walk with Jesus in these challenging days. Grab your Bibles and get ready to worship and grow together.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Outdoor services continue this week! We understand that some will not be comfortable coming back so soon, so we will be doing our best to continue bringing sermons via this online format. Additional Announcments are in the Service Playlist below.

SERMON

The title of the sermon is “Transformation not Reformation-A New Heart and a New Perspective”. The passage is Matthew 12:33-42. Jesus had little trouble bringing the gospel to those that we would probably call marginalized, those that the religious establishment didn't have any time for, those that they thought didn't even come close to having what it takes to become part of the Kingdom of God. Jesus had no problem bringing His message and ministry to these people, they were hungry and thirsty, but He ran into all kinds of opposition by the religious of His day, this cloak of religiosity that was covering their hearts. So, Jesus’ ministry, specially here, was to just take off that cloak of religious performance, strip off this false sense of decency that we present to the world.
