Facility Upgrades
On behalf of the Trustee team, I am happy to report that the church building is dry and warm.
The Trustee team has presented a 3 year project plan that will ensure that the building is maintained and improved for us all to GATHER, GROW and GO to multiply Christ’s Church. In reviewing the projects that were presented, the condition of the rear paved exit of the church is a project that is at the top of the list.
As we looked at the exit, it became apparent that it’s original construction did not adhere to biblical principles (Matthew 7:24-27), there was not a proper foundation. Further damage was done to the exit from a previous project, when the pavement was cut 3 years ago to install the new propane tank lines. You may have noticed the damage and sinking pavement when exiting the church after a rain fall, as you drive thru the hills and lake valleys that have developed. The church leadership agreed that this project needs to be completed first. We have worked with a local contractor and they have agreed that they can complete this project as soon as winter ends.
This is a fundamental improvement that has benefits beyond the structural improvement, it will also improve the grade and widen the exit area for safe visibility when exiting the church onto route 79.
Goal: Funding required for this project is 15K.

We truly appreciate your investment. Thank you for prioritizing the upkeep of our facilities that God has entrusted us with. All financial gifts are greatly appreciated, for this will dramatically improve the structural integrity and allow cars to safely exit Christ Chapel.
If you have any questions about this project or other projects that the trustee team is working on, please reach out to Craig Chapman my cell is 404 386 9621 email is chapmancraigd@gmail.com. Thanks again for allowing us to serve the body as WE work to take care of this great church that we have been in entrusted with.
Christ Chapel Cares
James 2:15-16 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? (ESV)
Christ Chapel Cares exists to facilitate acts of compassion and care for members of Christ Chapel, coming alongside those in need with compassion. We use Benevolence funds to bless those with temporary financial need, without discrimination or judgment. We aid or facilitate help for those challenged by small repairs around the home, or with small vehicle repairs. We provide meal assistance for those dealing with stressful but temporary family situations such as birth, death, moving, or sickness in the family.
While the Deacons administer Christ Chapel Cares, it is our hope to engage the whole congregation in carrying out Jesus’ command to love one another. To come alongside the Deacon team, you can let us know where you are willing and able to serve on occasion by filling out the How Can I Help survey.
Goal: To give of our time to the needs of the church body
