Card Ministry to Robin's Nest
Card Ministry to Residents of Adult Daycare, Respite, and Residence
The Vision
Robin's Nest is part of the ongoing outreach efforts of Christ Chapel’s Missions Committee. We are always seeking opportunities in our local community to share the love of Christ. In this season when we are all so isolated due to the COVID-19 quarantining, seniors in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities are especially impacted.
Robin’s Nest is a Medical-Model Adult Daycare, Respite, and Residence located in Clinton. Robin Twigg, who is a member of Christ Chapel, is the Robin of Robin’s Nest. Robin’s Nest has had exactly ZERO cases of COVID-19, but they cannot have visitors. We would like to support and encourage these dear residents who are among “the least of these”.
How You Can Help
You can help by “adopting” a Robin’s Nest resident.. By sending cards or notes of encouragement monthly, you will get to know your “adoptee” and they will get to know you. This can be a great family ministry – your young children or grandchildren could even draw pictures to include for your “adopted” resident.
Linda Cloutier can connect you with a Robin’s Nest “adoptee”. We have a list of Robin’s Nest residents, ages, and their interests. Most of these are in their 70s and 80s, although there is one 58-year-old and one -- yes! -- 95-year-old!!

Thank you so much for reaching out to “the least of these”, and for allowing Jesus Christ to reach out and love on these seniors, through your efforts.
